For me, painting is about light falling on the interesting shapes in the landscape.  Whether it is sky, water, or earth, different times of day or different seasons of the year, that is what I want to paint.  I enjoy painting atmospheric conditions on both sunny and overcast days, always I attempt to give the perception of depth to my version of the landscape.
